FAQs
How big is it really?
One panel is 59.5 × 12 cm (23.4 × 4.7 in) — a little longer than two footballs laid end to end. On its own it runs across your rear window as a bright band, so most of the window stays clear to see through. The full-window looks in our photos and videos would take several panels to achieve.
Will it fit my car?
Almost certainly. You need a stretch of rear window about 24 inches across and 5 inches tall, on the inside of the glass and clear of the third brake light. The panel is flexible, so it follows the gentle curve of most rear windows. If you drive something with a very small or steeply curved rear window, measure before you order.
How does it stay on the window?
With an adhesive backing. Wipe the inside of the glass clean and dry, peel off the protective film and press it on firmly along its whole length. No drilling and no tools, and because it sits on the inside of the glass, rain and car washes never touch it.
How is it powered?
From a USB port. The cable ends in a standard USB-A plug (the classic rectangular one) and has an on/off switch built into it, so you never have to unplug it to turn it off. There is no battery inside — it runs whenever it is plugged in and switched on. In most cars the USB ports switch off with the engine; if yours stay live, flip the switch off when you park for the night.
Will it work with my car's USB ports?
If your car has a USB-A port, it plugs straight in. If it only has the newer USB-C ports, a small USB-C to USB-A adapter does the job (not included). Before you stick it on, hold it in place and check the cable reaches your port. If the nearest one is up at the dashboard, a USB extension cable or a 12V USB adapter in a rear power socket (most SUVs have one in the cargo area) sorts it out.
How do I change what it shows?
Two ways. The app on your phone is where you make it yours: type any message and choose its colors, speed and brightness, draw your own pixel art with the brush and eraser, or tap a ready-made animation from the gallery. Scan the QR code in the box to download it. For quick changes you don't need your phone at all — the remote switches it on and off and flicks through designs.
Is it legal to drive with it on?
That depends on where you live, so check your state's rules before you use it on the road. Vehicle lighting laws vary: many places restrict flashing or moving lights, red and blue lights, and anything that blocks your view out of the back. The easy way to enjoy it is parked — at the tailgate, in the stadium lot, in the driveway on game day. And set it up before you drive, never while you're driving.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
If you order by November 22nd, yes — even at the slow end of our delivery window. After that it's likely but not guaranteed, and we'd rather tell you that now than have you waiting on the 24th.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are packed and dispatched within 1–3 business days, then take 10–14 business days to arrive. Most orders arrive within 3 to 4 weeks, and your tracking number is emailed the moment it ships. Full detail is in our shipping policy.
What's in the box?
The LED panel with its adhesive backing, the USB power cable with its on/off switch, the remote, and instructions with the QR code for the app.
For The Fan Who Already Owns Every Jersey.
Every football fan has someone in their life who never knows what to buy them. This is the answer. It's personal from the first minute — their name, their number, their team's colors, whatever they want to tell the world — and it's on the car by halftime. Then it's the thing everybody walks over to see at the next tailgate.
